At Surgical Associates, our surgeons work closely with St. Vincent Regional Hospital, a Level 1 Trauma Center, to provide comprehensive trauma care. While our clinic is not a trauma center, our surgeons are actively involved in treating patients who arrive at the hospital’s emergency room with life-threatening injuries.

How Trauma Surgery Works
Trauma patients are often brought to St. Vincent Regional Hospital by ambulance or air transport. Once at the hospital, our surgeons assess the patient’s condition and perform the necessary surgery. The team uses advanced techniques and works with other specialists such as radiologists and emergency physicians to deliver coordinated care.
